英语“how”的十三种用法

对程度提问用how。
如：
—How do you like this skirt？ 你觉得这件裙子怎么样？
—I like it very much. 我非常喜欢它。

对方式、方法提问用how。
如：
？—How do you usually go to school？ 你通常怎样去学校？
—I often go to school by bus. 我通常乘公共汽车去学校。
—How do you improve your oral English？ 你怎样提高你的英语口语？
—I talk with my teachers and classmates in English. 我和我的老师以及同学用英语交谈。

对天气和身体状况提问用 how。
如：
？—How is the weather today？ 今天天气怎么样？
—It's sunny. 今天天气晴朗。
—How are you？ 你（身体）好吗？
—I'm fine. 我很好。

询问对方的看法要用how about。如：
—How about going to the zoo tomorrow？ 明天去动物园怎么样？
—Good idea！ 好主意！

对单位时间的频率提问用how often。
如：
—How often do you go to the cinema？ 你多久去一次电影院？
—Twice a month. 一个月两次。

对次数的提问用how many times。
如：
—How many times have you been to Chongqing？ 你去过重庆多少次了？
—Three times. 三次。

对年龄提问用how old。
如：
—How old are you？ 你多大了？
—I'm thirteen years old. 我十三岁了。

对延续的一段时间状语或物体的长度提问用 how long。
如：
？—How long does it take you to walk to school from your home every day？ 你每天从家里
步行到学校要花多长时间？
—Twelve minutes. 十二分钟。
—How long is the river？ 这条河有多长？
—It's about 3，000 kilometers long. 它大约有3000千米长。

对距离远近提问用how far。
如：
—How far is it from your home to your school？ 从你家到学校有多远？
—1.5 kilometers. 1.5千米。

对长、宽、高、面积提问用how+形容词（long， wide， tall， high， large...）
如：
？—How long is the ruler？ 这把直尺有多长？
—20 centimeters long. 20厘米。
—How wide is the swimming pool？ 这个游泳池有多宽？
—21 meters. 21米。
—How tall is your father？ 你爸爸有多高？
—1.8 meters. 一米八。
—How high can you jump？ 你能跳多高？
—1.5 meters. 一米五。
—How is the bedroom？ 这个卧室有多大？
—30 square meters. 三十平方米。

对过多久以后提问用how soon。
如：
—How soon will you mother come back？ 你妈妈将多久回来？
—In half an hour. 半个小时。

对价格、重量提问用how much。
如：
—How much is this yellow sweater？ 这件黄色的毛衣多钱？
—180 yuan. 一百八十元。
—How much does your brother weigh？ 你弟弟有多重？

如：
